One of the complaints I hear often from potential and new clients is that their previous cleaners were unreliable and there was someone new coming each time to clean. The beauty of what you get when you hire Angie and myself is that is the two of us every. single. time. And we’re reliable. It is oh so rare we need to cancel, most often it would be a reschedule. And if we needed to do that we try extra hard to give at least 24 hours notice and it’s usually just related to sickness of a kiddo. We are mom’s and wives first…but we love serving our customers by cleaning and refreshing their homes.

A home away from home.

Recently I had the opportunity to work some magic on a cute little AirB&B in downtown Lincoln. Thanks again, Kim Menagh, Realtor at Nebraska Realty for the amazing referral! The clients were gems to work with.

Decorating doesn’t have to look one way. It can be minimal with thrifted finds or matchy matchy with top dollar items. For me it’s the thrill of finding a $100 piece of art for a specific space for $20. This property came in at nearly half the quoted price because I’m willing to hunt for pieces that fit the space but at a massive discount to the client. New things brewing!

Hello friends! I’m so excited to share with you some things that have been happening over the last few months.

If you read my about page you’ll know that for most of my life I’ve played the role of decorator, thrifter, stager, organizer, decluttered and cleaner. Through my recent years learning all about doTERRA essential oils I’ve added the signature home scent with diffusers to my daily cozy home routine. More recently I’ve taken all of this into the business world by offering my skills to other people.

Earlier this spring I had the opportunity to work with my business partner helping a dear friend declutter and organize several rooms throughout his home. We worked to help him toss, donate and organize spaces to better serve his needs. We also helped pack, move and unpack another friend from one appartment to the next.

In March I met with and started working for a great family to decorate their main floor entry way, living/dining and kitchen area. What a fun project taking things from the initial bid all the way through to the end. I worked to help them pick a style using Pinterest for inspiration, shopped and thrifted modern and midcentury modern design pieces both in stores and online, and helped them arrange furniture, hang pictures, pick window coverings, and even staging specific pieces for the space above the kitchen cabinets. I loved working with that family and hope they loved the final space as much as I did.

Over the past few months there have been several cleaning jobs, bids for deep cleans, move out cleans, wallpaper removal and more! I am excited to see what else is possible.

On the aromatherapy side I’ve had the pleasure to work with a couple different businesses in the Lincoln area to add aromatherapy with doTERRA essential oils and diffusers to their lobby and client waiting areas. What a difference a scent can make to making someone feel at ease, more patient, happy and even purifying the air.

What else is possible? I’m looking forward to connecting with new clients who are looking to refresh a space (use pieces they have throughout their home , rearrange current spaces and make it look “new”), clean outs or regular cleans, and created the coziest spaces for the owner and family/friends to enjoy!

Here’s a the thing…you can definitely use oils in the moment for head stuff, breathing, calming, etc. but using them preventatively is where the magic is. ✨

•try a drop on your wrists and take several deep breathes of this blend before you head into a store during the Christmas season. Also before you take off for your commute during rush hour.

•try this in your diffuser with serenity for calming sleep or around anxious pets. Yes it’s safe, just leave the doors open so they can leave a room if they want too. You can also apply to there backs and tips of ears.

•try a couple drops in some Epsom salts and baking soda for a relaxing bath experience.

•try a couple drops on a cotton ball in your intimates drawer, in your air vents in your car or on the towels you put away in the linen closet.

•try a drop on the back of the neck of kiddos before they leave for school in the morning. If they need a little mold boost at lunch have a cotton ball with a couple drops in their lunch box.

How to use essential oils for your dogs.

Over the 8+ years I’ve used doTERRA essential oils I’ve had so many amazing situations where these oils have helped support my dogs health and emotional wellness! One of my most recent stories you can find here:

I’ve used everything from DigestZen for tummy’s (if you’ve ever had a Great Dane you know they have sensitive stomachs), to Serenity for calming during storms and fireworks, Copaiba for supported inflammation, healing and discomfort when my Rat Terrier broke his tail, to CorrectX for the many adventures they’ve had and come home with proof!

I also reference “Spoil Your Pet” by Mia K Freeze, DVM and Jan C. Jeremias, MSc. as well as “Essential Oils for Dogs and Cats” by Skye Petterson. Not all oils are safe for cats and dogs so be sure to only use doTERRA and reference these books before you use them. Peppermint Mocha - copycat Starbucks recipe...the healthier version

Love a good Peppermint Mocha this time of year? I do to but I don’t always like to spend the money or load up on the sugar! I’ve been making this copycat, healthy version for years and still love it this time of year. If you’re new to the bulletproof coffee, it might take a little getting used to but I’ve found that it’s really filling and I’m sad when I don’t start my morning with it.

Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
- TBLS ghee butter
- TBLS raw honey
- TBLS cacao
- 1/3 cup “milk”
- scoop of collagen

- coffee
- frother ☺️
