Terracotta Diffuser Ornament

  • Terracotta clay (bake or air-dry)

  • Cookie cutters

  • Rolling pin

  • Straw

  • Cookie sheet

  • Parchment paper

Roll Terracotta down to a 1/4 inch thick slab and use cookie cutters to punch out shapes. Use a straw to poke a smaller hole for hanging, if needed. Follow instructions on the Terracotta package to bake or air dry. Once dry, add a pretty ribbon! To use as a passive diffuser, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil.

Make your own scented hand soap.

If you're like me you LOVE your OnGuard foaming hand soap and never want to be without! But...if you're also like me you want to play around with scents and making a yummy scented hand soap is super fun and easy! The key is adding FCO and/or Yarrow Pom so the castile soap doesn't dry out your skin.

Do you make your own hand soap? What scent combinations do you love best?

Christmas Tree Spray

Fake or Real Christmas tree? I used to have a real always until I forgot to water it one year! Oooops…now it’s the good ‘ol fake tree. But never fear…you can still have the Christmas tree farm smell of a real tree whenever you want!

What you need: Black Spruce, Siberian Fri, Douglas Fir and Cedarwood essential oil, a spray bottle, vodka or witch hazel, and distilled water.

To make: double or triple the amount of essential oils for this diffuser blend, depending on spray bottle size - you can always add more if it’s not strong enough, and add to your spray bottle. Add a tablespoon of witch hazel or vodka (this is a bonding agent to help the oils mix with the water). Top with distilled water and spray tree generously whenever you want that real tree smell!
